We have another challenge coin that has a design with Sherlockian themes. This challenge coin comes from the Office of Criminal Investigations of the United States Food and Drug Administration.

OBVERSE: INTERNAL AFFAIRS / (a standing rat in deerstalker cap and holding a magnifying glass, superimposed upon a map of the continental United States in the colors of the U.S. flag) / CONSTITUERE NON STUPIDI

REVERSE: OFFICE OF CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS / (shield of a FDA special agent) / (6 stars)

51mm, Round, Enamel

The Latin phrase on the bottom of the obverse translates as Resolved Not Stupid.

The FDA’s Office of Criminal Investigations is headquartered in Washington, DC, but has 13 field offices around the country. All of the offices has Internal Affairs staffers.

We would welcome more information about this particular challenge coin.
