In honor of today being the 410th anniversary of the Gunpowder Plot, we present this radio broadcast from 70 years ago today. Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce are together for their last season for The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes on the Mutual Radio Broadcasting System.  This episode was written by Anthony Boucher, who was invested as The Valley of Fear in 1949 by the Baker Street Irregulars and is based on a item from The Devil’s Foot.
