“Well, if you can lay your hands upon a Garrideb, there’s money in it.”
– The Adventure of the Three Garridebs (3GAR)
A few days after publishing our post about the Three Garridebs of Westchester County, we became aware that the group had earlier issued a lapel pin with a numismatic twist.
The pin features a British five pound bank note, surrounded on three sides with the story’s quote of “Well, if you can lay your hands upon a Garrideb, there’s money in it.” The bottom of the pin has the scion’s name.
