Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays!

“I had called upon my friend Sherlock Holmes upon the second morning after Christmas, with the intention of wishing him the compliments of the season.”

– The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle (BLUE)

Happy Holidays!

For those of our readers, who get the email blasts alerting them to new posts being published on the site, we will be taking a break until after the Sherlock Holmes Weekend activities in New York during January 9-13, 2019.

Your editor will be in New York, partaking in the festivities, and it appears that over 25 other Garridebs will be making an appearance during the long weekend. By our count, 20 Garridebs will be at the annual dinner of the Baker Street Irregulars on that Friday night. I hope to see many of you there and, please, do say hello, if you see me across a crowded room.

We are hoping to publish several of the evidence boxes from Watson’s Tin Box that we haven’t published in the past when we discussed some of the other stories of the Canon. We started discussing some of the stories before WTB gave us permission to share their evidence boxes, and in a few cases, the boxes had not yet been digitized when we did some stories. If you haven’t checked out any of these evidence boxes, take a minute to see what has already been shared!

Our thanks to Brad Keefauver and Frank Mentzel for their continuing conributions of The 17 Steps and Data! Data! Data!, respectively, each month. Thanks also to Debbie Clark and Denny Dobry for their assistance with the evidence boxes from Watson’s Tin Box.

Thanks to those of you who take the time to read our posts and to those who offer comments. They are appreciated.

Best wishes for a safe and Happy Holiday season. We look forward to our fifth year (!) in 2019!
