Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Lost Coin

Earlier this summer, J & S Biblical Productions posted a YouTube video of Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Lost Coin. This video illustrates the forgiveness of a sinner, based on The Parable of the Lost Coin from Luke 15:8-10 of the Bible.

In this pastiche, Sherlock Holmes helped to recover a missing coin and restore the sinner, Miss Candelabra, to her rightful place in the community and English society.

The story is set in 1896, yet the missing coin (in the picture above) was a U.S. Saint Gaudens $20 gold coin. This coin was minted between 1907 and 1933.
