NY/NJ Port Authority Police Issue Sherlockian Challenge Coin

Earlier in 2015, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department Detectives issued a challenge coin that features Sherlock Holmes.

REVERSE: CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS / (PAPD patch superimposed on a silhouette of a left facing Sherlock Holmes wearing a deerstalker cap and holding a pipe, upon a  background of a fingerprint) / (ear of wheat) BUREAU (ear of wheat)

The silhouetted Sherlock Holmes on the reverse of this challenge coin appears to be the statue of Sherlock Holmes located in London. The Sherlock Holmes Society of London commissioned John Doubleday to cast that statue.
